Create Your First Countdown Timer

Step 1: Click the 'Create' button to start building your first countdown timer, announcement, or popup.

Step 2: By default, the primary market (country and language) configured in Shopify Markets is displayed on the Settings (Country and Language) page.
This default setting is marked as Primary and is automatically applied to your store.

 

Step 3: To create additional market settings, click on the Create Settings button (highlighted above).
A popup will open where you can select a Country and its corresponding Language, then click Create Setting to save.

The popup for markets (countries) and their respective languages will only be displayed if the countries are set up in the Shopify Markets

Step 4: Use the actions below to manage country and language settings for your timers.
Updated action descriptions

• Edit – Open the timer setup page for the selected country and language.
  
• Delete – Remove this country-language setting (Primary cannot be deleted).
  
• Make Primary – Set this country and language as the store’s default.

Step 5: Choose the display type that best fits your needs: Countdown Bar, Announcement Bar, Popup, or Sales Popup.

Step 6: Select where your Countdown Bar will appear inside your store — Product Page, Top/Bottom Bar, Landing Page, or Cart Page.

Step 7: Select how your announcements will appear — Simple 
Announcement, Running Announcement, or Multi Announcement
